Financial aid includes any money you receive to fund your education and may include: scholarships, grants, work study, loans, and more.

When you submit the FAFSA (commonly referred to as Financial Aid), you are automatically considered for grants (which do not need to be paid back) and loans (which do need to be paid back), so you do not need to apply for them separately. You may also apply for scholarships in addition to your financial aid or for only scholarships.
